Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

A DAF is a centralized charitable account that allows for tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and, in some cases, certain illiquid assets. Contact your financial advisor for specific advice about how to establish a DAF.

Donate via DAF direct.

Qualified Charitable Distribution

If you’re 70½ or older, you have another option to consider for a tax-efficient charitable gift. A QCD allows you to efficiently pass on up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to qualified charitable organizations and realize tax advantages. Contact your financial advisor for specific advice on how to make a QCD contribution.

Stock Transfer

Stock Giving is the most tax efficient way to give. When donors give appreciated stock, the shares are transferred from the donors’ brokerage account directly to a a qualified 501(c)3 nonprofit’s brokerage account. The donor does not have to pay tax on the capital gain. In addition, the full value (or fair market value) of the donated stock is the amount of the charitable donation donors can claim on their individual income tax return. Contact your financial advisor for specific advice on how to make a donation via Stock Transfer.

Employer Match Donation

Increase the impact of your gift! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will double—sometimes even triple—any charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees, or spouses.

Contact your HR department for the proper forms for a matching donation and mail them to Light Of The World Adaptive Horsemanship. If you need a hand please reach out, we’re happy to help with the process.

More Ways to Help Us

Horse Sponsorship

Support the well-being of our incredible therapy horses by sponsoring their care and maintenance at our facility. Your sponsorship helps cover essential needs like hay, grain, farrier visits, veterinary care, and more — ensuring our horses stay healthy, happy, and ready to serve our riders. These gentle partners are the heart of our program, and your support makes their life-changing work possible.

Rider Sponsorship

Provide life-changing financial assistance for individuals to access adaptive horsemanship and therapeutic riding sessions. Your support helps cover the cost of lessons, adaptive equipment, and the specialized instruction needed to safely and effectively serve children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. For many families, your sponsorship makes this powerful therapy possible — opening the gate to strength, confidence, and connection they might not find anywhere else.

General Donation

Contribute to the sustainability and growth of our equine therapy program by making a gift that supports where it's needed most. Your donation helps cover essential operational costs, facility upkeep, instructor training, and the development of new programs to reach even more individuals in need. It ensures our gates stay open, our barn stays running, and our riders continue to thrive — today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
