About Us
Our Mission
To help people heal and grow while enjoying one of God's greatest gifts, horses.
Who We Are
Founded in 2024, Light Of The World Adaptive Horsemanship is a nonprofit organization serving children and adults with special needs and unique circumstances throughout Alabama.
Using the talent and dedication of our highly trained staff, certified professionals, volunteers and trained therapy horses, our programs offer unique experiences where ability is celebrated every day. Through the healing power of horses, participants are able to turn struggle into success as they build strength, develop confidence, and achieve short and long-term goals to enhance their daily life skills.
Light Of The World Adaptive Horsemanship is the heart of Canoe Creek Stables. Our equestrian facility is conveniently located in Springville, AL. We provide services to children and adults with special needs and unique circumstances
