Mini Wings Traveling Therapy Ponies
Comfort That Comes to You
Our Mini Wings program brings the joy and comfort of horses beyond the barn and into the community.
Through Mini Wings, our trained miniature therapy ponies visit assisted living homes, nursing homes, veterans' facilities, schools, hospitals, community events, hospice programs, and other locations where people may not be able to come to us.
These tiny ponies have a big purpose: to bring smiles, comfort, connection, and encouragement to children, adults, seniors, veterans, first responders, and families throughout our community.
The Benefits of Mini Wings Visits
Our miniature therapy ponies help create meaningful moments through:
Emotional support and encouragement
Social interaction and engagement
Stress reduction and relaxation
Increased conversation and connection
Positive memories and experiences
Smiles, laughter, and joy
Comfort during difficult times
Opportunities for learning and personal growth
Bringing Hope Beyond the Barn
Not everyone has the ability to visit a farm or participate in a therapeutic riding program. Mini Wings was created to bring the healing power of horses directly to those who need it most.
Whether visiting a veteran, encouraging a child, brightening the day of a nursing home resident, or bringing comfort to someone facing health challenges, our miniature therapy ponies help create moments that matter.
Support Mini Wings
Mini Wings is a community outreach program of Light of the World Adaptive Horsemanship, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Your support helps cover pony care, training, equipment, transportation, insurance, and outreach expenses, allowing us to continue providing visits throughout our community.
All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Together, we can bring hope, healing, comfort, and smiles to those who need them most—one pony visit at a time.
